Liner Top Test Tools

Liner Top Test Tools

Tools run as part of the main wellbore clean-up string which are used to test (negatively) one or more liners/liner packers all the way to the shoe track. Some tools are used to scrape the casing to below the integral packer setting area as well as to dress off the PBR (Polished Bore Receptacle) at the top of the liner. Some tools also effectively cross over one size of pipe to a smaller pipe size inside the liner.

Name Function/Application
Liner Top Test Packer (LTTP) The Liner Top Test Packer (LTTP) is designed to perform a negative test on the liner top to ensure liner top integrity before changing fluids.
WELL COMMISSIONER The WELL COMMISSIONER* tool is unique in that it is designed to allow inflow and negative tests to be carried out on a liner overlap and the liner shoe track on the same trip as the wellbore cleanup.
