The DIPRO™ system is a highly engineered product with a wide range of flexibility and compatibility with a full gamut of well conditions and completion methods. M-I SWACO validates the system’s suitability for your application by looking at all of the variables involved in your project, including your production goals.
Using a set of advanced design tools, M-I SWACO engineers and technicians pre-design the system before it ever arrives at your rig. Our proprietary OPTIBRIDGE™ software determines the ideal particle size distribution for the bridging agent. A modified HTHP tester examines fluid loss and filtercake quality while also helping to suggest the optimum cleanup chemistry. If reactive clays are present, swellmeter and shale dispersion tests identify the optimum base brine. If needed, a return permeameter or our proprietary completion simulator optimizes the fluid formulation and cleanup, using an actual core sample from an offset well. From the initial design through drill-in and completion, the M-I SWACO engineer can test the ability of the specific DIPRO system to flow back through the completion assembly using the PRODUCTION SCREEN TESTER™ (PST) fitted with a sample of a completion screen identical to that being run in the well.
