DI-TROL Starch Derivative

The DI-TROL™ additive is a specially processed, high-molecular-weight, branched-chain starch derivative that generates elevated low-shear-rate viscosity (LSRV) and controls filtrate loss in the DIPRO™ system. When used in conjunction with a bridging agent such as calcium carbonate, it provides a thin, pliable, easily removed filtercake. DI-TROL agent should be used in calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, calcium bromide and zinc bromide brines.
