The M-I SWACO Production Technologies drag reducers reduce the energy lost in the pipeline flow by suppressing the turbulence at the pipe wall boundary layer that gives rise to drag and inefficient flow. It allows high-energy fluids to flow more directionally, significantly increasing pipeline capacity, compared with the energy lost in fluids not treated with the Flow-Improver Additive (FIA). |
