One of the primary ways to reduce the cost of drilling an oil or gas well is to be able to reduce the amount of drilling fluid lost to the circulating system with the drill cuttings that are removed from the system by solids-control equipment and other means.

To meet the demands of new advancements within the drilling market, M-I SWACO has looked at the wider drilling process and designed fit-for-purpose solids-control and fluid recovery systems. Incorporating modern drilling methods, new equipment enhancements and understanding issues such as limited-discharge legislation and drilling fluid properties, we have designed the best-in-class systems for the market. Our ENVIROCENTER*s are onshore recovery and processing sites while our ENVIROUNIT* modules are transportable, perform the same functions as the ENVIROCENTERs, but on a smaller scale, and can be positioned on offshore rigsites.

Our latest innovations include the RECLAIM* technology, advances in our MONGOOSE* PT shaker line and in our centrifuge equipment line and our ability to filter completion fluids for reuse.
