2-12/4T4 Mud Cleaner
The M-I SWACO 2-12/4T4™ MUD CLEANER is comprised of one 1,000-gpm (3,785-Lpm) 2-12 D-SANDER™, one 900-gpm (3,407-Lpm) 6T4 D-SILTER® and one 2-12/4T4 ADJUSTABLE LINEAR Shaker. The D-SANDER and D-SILTER hydroclones are mounted over the screening surface of the 2-12/4T4 Shaker to create a high volume 2-12/4T4 MUD CLEANER.
The 2-12 D-SANDER includes two 12" (305-mm) diameter polyurethane hydroclones slant mounted over the shaker. Each D-SANDER clone includes four replaceable wear resistant polyurethane sections that are joined together with quick release stainless steel clamps. The D-SANDER is furnished with an 8" (203-mm) diameter feed manifold and a 10" (254-mm) diameter discharge manifold and a 0-60 psi (4.1-bar) pressure gauge. The D-SANDER also includes a solids discharge trough to distribute the hydroclone underflow evenly onto the screening surface.
The 4T4 D-SILTER includes eight 4" (102-mm) polyurethane hydroclones mounted over the 2-12/4T4 Shaker. The D-SILTER is furnished complete with twin-cone replaceable polyurethane feed and apex sections. The D- SILTER also includes a 6" (152-mm) diameter feed manifold, an 8" (203-mm) diameter discharge manifold, a 0-60 psi (4.1-bar) pressure gauge and a discharge trough to distribute the hydroclone underflow evenly onto the screening surface.
The 2-12/4T4 Shaker is a single deck full view shaker design with two 4' x 4' (1,219-mm x 1,219-mm) screen panels to provide 32 square feet (2.97 square meters) of screening area. Screen tensioning is provided by quick release tensioning on each side. The deck angle is adjustable from +3 degrees to -3 degrees with a positive jacking device. The vibrating assembly consists of two explosion-proof, eccentric motors and starters. The vibration angle is adjustable from 25 degrees to 65 degrees in 10-degree increments to change amplitude and set the "g" force to a maximum of 6.25 "g's". The 2-12/4T4 Shaker is provided with adjustable diverter vanes with a louvered flow weir/dam to control the distribution of drilling fluid onto the screening surface. The fluid collection tank (possum belly) includes a 10" (254-mm) diameter pipe for connection to the fluid feed line (flow line).
