M-I SWACO’s 10,000-psi, 15,000-psi and 20,000-psi drilling chokes are the most widely used and respected well killing and high pressure control drilling chokes in the industry. For many years and under a variety of operating conditions these chokes have proven themselves effective when used during well kicks, well testing and well clean-up operations. They are designed and manufactured for hydrogen sulfide and abrasive fluid applications and in accordance with API and NACE standards.

M-I SWACO’s latest pressure control innovation, the SUPER AUTOCHOKE™ provides easier, more precise well pressure control. The SUPER AUTOCHOKE regulates pressure automatically under all conditions. Choke operators no longer have to fight the controls during transition operations, such as mud pump start-up or shut-down, or when mud and gas are flowing alternately through the choke.
