Corporate Identity Standards
The approved company logos are the ones shown here. Any other variations that use “M-I,” “Swaco” or the arcs are not permitted.

The graphic below illustrates approved logo color options for white, black, gray and orange backgrounds. For all other solid-color backgrounds, the black with orange logo on the isolated background should be used. For clarification on other logo variations, contact the Marketing Communications Department at marcom@miswaco.com.

Logo in a tightly confined area
The elements used for centering a logo within a tightly confined area are the left edge of the “M,” the top edge of the “A,” the right edge of the third arc and the bottom edge of the second arc.

Logo in a loosely confined area
The elements used for centering a logo within a loosely confined area are the left edge of the “M,” the top edge of the “A,” the right edge of the second arc and the bottom edge of the “A.”

Logo in an open area
When using the logo in an open area, the company name “M-I SWACO” should be centered from left to right in the available area. Be sure the open space above and below the logo meets or exceeds the minimum area guidelines.

What not to do
In order to build and reinforce our brand image, it is vital to maintain consistency in our logo treatments. For this reason do not do any of the following.
